SRVIP Workshops

Overview

The SRVIP teaches a variety of workshops relevant to an array of human service topics.

  • Our workshops can be tailored to meet your training needs, in terms of format (including length) as well as teaching the content most relevant to your program’s or agency’s specific issues.
  • We teach our workshops to general audiences as well as in-house to specific programs and agencies.
  • Depending on your needs, we can teach our workshops on different levels of intensity and depth, and we can even train your staff trainers.

Please feel free to call us:

  • to arrange for a workshop;
  • for more information on a specific training;
  • about other questions.

The SRVIP maintains a resource library of books, journals, articles, and video tapes on a variety of human service related topics. We are committed to helping service workers and family members of people with impairments to learn and enhance their abilities to provide meaningful and relevant service.

Part of this learning and development comes from attending our workshops. Another essential part comes from following up with further study and reflection upon specific service issues, trends and ideas. We can offer a quiet work space to study for interested people, plus direction and resources necessary to that study.
