Tube-feeding At Thirty-thousand Feet: De-mystifying Assisted
Nutrition/Hydration & Other Life-Enhancing Decisions
This workshop is designed to explain assisted hydration
and nutrition from the perspective of the user. Techniques
are described and a demonstration is offered as well.
Further,
we explore some of the ideological considerations in making
decisions about nourishment, and do so from the “Equality
of Life” perspective in contrast to the prevailing “Quality
of Life” mindset which dominates modern medical practice.
A
fundamental assumption underlying this workshop is that all
people have equal worth, therefore all medical decisions
should reflect the inherent dignity of every human being. Download Flier with Description: PDF
